Switching to Linux: Stories and Articles

I like to collect stories and articles about how people (and businesses) go about switching to Linux (or open source software). Up to now, my collection is sitting in the digitalequivalent of boxes, folders, and piles that sit around my office and gather dust. But now, here's my shiny new box of stories. Enjoy!

  • Slashdot: Venezula Producing Its Own Linux PCs references this article: Venezuela Launches Sale of "Bolivarian" Computers about the Venezualan government rolling out Chinese hardware with Linux on top.
  • HP is starting to sell Linux PCs... in Australia. Here's the Slashdot article: Hewlett-Packard Brings Linux To Select Desktops and here's the  Desktop Linux story: HP releases its first mass-market Linux PC.
